AUSTIN TAP ENSEMBLE

The Austin Tap Ensemble is Art Beat Foundation’s premier adult tap performance group, celebrating the rich musicality, history, and artistry of tap dance. The ensemble brings together dedicated tap dancers from across the Austin area to train, rehearse, and perform choreography that honors both traditional and contemporary styles.

Led with a focus on rhythm, precision, and storytelling, the Austin Tap Ensemble performs at community events, festivals, and showcases throughout Central Texas. The group is rooted in the legacy of influential tap artists - such as Leon Collins - and works to preserve and share this uniquely American art form with audiences of all ages.

The ensemble provides a creative home for adult dancers who want to grow technically, collaborate artistically, and be part of a vibrant, supportive community. Whether performing classic repertory or exploring new works, the Austin Tap Ensemble keeps tap dance alive, accessible, and thriving in Austin.

HEART & SOLES DANCE COMPANY

Heart & Soles is Art Beat Foundation’s inclusive youth performance company, created to give dancers of all abilities the opportunity to shine on stage. Open to students in the Adaptive 3 program, Heart & Soles provides a supportive, confidence-building environment where young performers can explore choreography, develop teamwork, and share the joy of dance with the community.

Through rehearsals and performance opportunities, dancers strengthen coordination, musicality, and stage presence while building lasting friendships in a space where they feel celebrated and empowered. Heart & Soles performs at community events, showcases, and Art Beat Foundation programs across Central Texas - highlighting the beauty of arts and demonstrating that every dancer has a place in the spotlight.
